To reflect the recent change made by Miss Rodeo America Inc. on the age requirement for contestants at the Miss Rodeo America 2023 pageant held in Las Vegas, NV in December 2022, the Miss Rodeo Wyoming Association has announced a change in age requirements for the contestants for the Miss Rodeo Wyoming 2023 pageant held in August 2022 at the Wyoming State Fair.
The new age requirement for the Miss Rodeo Wyoming 2023 contestants now states:
Each female contestant must be over the age of 20 years of age by November 1st of 2022 and shall not have attained the age of 26 years by December 31 of the year of competition, the same to be evidenced by her birth certificate presented before competition.
The Miss Rodeo Wyoming Association encourages local Wyoming rodeo royalty pageants and sponsoring titles to review their age requirements if participation at the Miss Rodeo Wyoming pageant is required by titleholders.
