BAILEE’S JOURNEY
Beginning her rodeo queen journey at just eight years old as the 2009 Rich County Fair & Junior Rodeo Jr. Princess, 24-year-old Bailee Mackey has continued to honor a family legacy, following in the footsteps of her mother and aunt. Over the years, she’s held several rodeo queen titles in Utah, including the 2023 Spanish Fork Fiesta Days Queen, and has twice competed for Miss Rodeo Utah. Recently, she returned to her hometown of Evanston, Wyoming, where she captured the prestigious title of Miss Rodeo Wyoming 2024.
Reflecting on her journey so far, Bailee shares that she has loved every minute spent on the road, “embracing the Cowboy State” and representing what it means to be a true Wyoming cowgirl. As the year progresses, Bailee is now setting her sights on the upcoming Miss Rodeo America Pageant, which will take place this December in Las Vegas. Among the highlights, she looks forward to the Miss Rodeo America Fashion Show and Horsemanship competition—both key opportunities to showcase her skills and dedication.
Throughout her reign, Bailee has championed her platform, “Find Your White Buffalo,” which inspires others to pursue their dreams while facing life’s challenges head-on. After her time as a rodeo queen, Bailee plans to apply her Equine Science Management degree from Utah State University toward creating a full-service equine facility. Her vision includes hosting trainers from various disciplines, providing an on-site veterinary clinic, and establishing a reproduction facility.
We wish Bailee the best of luck at Miss Rodeo America as she pursues the ultimate rodeo crown!
