Sheridan WYO Rodeo Queen
Karyn Rieger is the 23 year old daughter of Steve & Beth Rieger. She is the Sheridan WYO Rodeo Queen for 2017. She graduated Worland high school and attended Sheridan College, where she received two associates degrees in agricultural business and rangeland management. Karyn currently is attending the University of Wyoming pursuing a double major in agricultural education and Rangeland Management. After graduating, her plans are to be a high school agriculture teacher and start her very own cattle ranch. She enjoys competing in Ranch horse versatility shows for the UW Show team.
In her free time, she spends time helping local rancher, traveling, and riding her horses. This is her very first title as a rodeo queen and she said she had lots of fun meeting new people, traveling to all of the events, and learning the ropes of being a rodeo queen. Karyn would like to thank all of the sponsors as well as the support and generosity of the community, family, friends & board members.
Cara recently graduated from Laramie County Community College (LCCC) in Cheyenne with an Associate of Science, Agriculture Business degree. While in college she was an active member of the livestock teams and the equestrian show team. She also worked as a Student Ambassador for the college and served as the secretary for the Collegiate Cattleman’s club. She plans to attend the University of Wyoming in the fall to pursue a degree in Ag Communications and Marketing, so she can continue onto her life goal of becoming a marketing director for a western or agriculture company.
Cara enjoys sharing her love of rodeo and introducing new fans to the sport we all love. She would be honored to represent as Miss Rodeo Wyoming 2018. Cara would foster the love she has for the Cowboy State and rodeo with others across the state and the nation.
Morgan believes that rodeo is more than a sport; it’s the celebration of a lifestyle. Her lifelong aspirations are to protect and preserve the western lifestyle and to educate others about its values.
Crystal Rivers Myers (MRW 2007) Welcomes Baby Girl
Fallon Fay Myers was born June 14, 2017 to Crystal Rivers Myers (Miss Rodeo Wyoming 2007) and husband Cody. She weighed 6.9 lbs and was 19 inches. She joins her brother Wacey and step-brother Bailey and step-sister Jayden. The Miss Rodeo Wyoming Association is excited to meet this future rodeo queen at the Miss Rodeo Wyoming Pageant August 11-14, 2017 at the Wyoming State Fair.
