Miss Rodeo Wyoming 2012: Kimberly Kuhn

On August 20, 2011, the coveted jade and gold crown was placed on Miss Kimberly Kuhn’s cowboy hat as she began her journey as Miss Rodeo Wyoming 2012. Being given the opportunity to promote her two great loves—rodeo and Wyoming—is a life-long accomplishment for Kimberly.
Proud to be raised a Wyoming cowgirl; Kimberly is the 22-year-old daughter of Pete and Vicki Kuhn and a fifth generation ranch owner in Johnson and Sheridan Counties which made it possible for her to become the 2011 Sheridan WYO Rodeo Queen. While at the State Fair, Kuhn Ranch was included as a 2011 Centennial Farm and Ranch Honoree. Kimberly graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelors of Science in Agriculture Business with a minor in Finance.
While at UW, she was a member of UW Rodeo Team, Delta Delta Delta Sorority, SPURS Honorary, Ag Ambassadors, and recipient of the National Western Stock Show Scholarship. Kimberly is a member of the Wyoming Rodeo Association and the Big Horn Basque Club. Kimberly was honored to serve Cheyenne Frontier Days as Miss Frontier 2009, and a leader of the CFD Dandies whom she traveled with for 4 years as a Goodwill Ambassador. Kimberly has earned her Gold Congressional Award and served as an FFA officer while also receiving the Star in Agriculture Placement Award.

As Kimberly travels the trail of Miss Rodeo Wyoming she will take along her passion for “Be Your Best Self.” A platform she selected a number of years ago aiming to create a positive attitude and build self-confidence in everyone she meets so they too can chase their dreams.
Kimberly would especially like to thank her family, friends and sponsors for their support to make this year possible. Kimberly is looking forward to an extraordinary year of building up everyone she encounters while she promotes professional rodeo and the State of Wyoming with class, integrity, beauty, and grace.
